Kia India, one of the fastest-growing mass-premium automakers in the country, has set a new milestone by delivering 255,038 vehicles in 2024. This achievement marks a 6 percent growth over the 240,919 units delivered in 2023, underscoring the company’s strong market performance and expansion efforts.

The year 2024 saw Kia India focusing on expanding its footprint across Tier-I and Tier-II cities. The company opened 126 new dealerships and 36 Certified Pre-Owned (CPO) outlets, bringing its total touchpoints to 700 across 301 cities in India. This expansion was aimed at reaching new customers and enhancing its accessibility in key markets.

Hardeep Singh Brar, Senior Vice President and Head of Sales and Marketing at Kia India, expressed excitement about the future. He stated, “As we move into 2025, we are excited about the upcoming launch of the Syros, which promises to redefine the Indian automotive landscape. With this, we will set new industry benchmarks and reinforce our leadership position in the market.”

The Kia Sonet, a popular model in the sub-compact SUV segment, played a pivotal role in Kia’s success. A total of 102,337 units of the Sonet were delivered, cementing its position as a leader in a highly competitive market. Additionally, the Seltos and Carens models further contributed to the company’s strong sales, boosting its market share.

Another notable achievement for Kia India was the delivery of over 563 units of the luxury Carnival Limousine, which exceeded expectations just two months after its launch.

Kia India also made significant strides in international markets, with exports reaching 25,404 units in 2024, showcasing the growing global appeal of the brand.

Kia’s strong performance in 2024 reflects its ongoing commitment to innovation, customer satisfaction, and expanding its presence in India and beyond. As the company looks toward 2025, it remains poised for further growth with the upcoming launch of the Syros, which is expected to set new industry standards in the Indian automotive market.
