Phalodi Satta Bazar Prediction 2025: Can BJP Challenge AAP’s Dominance and Break Its Decades-Long Power Drought in Delhi? Here’s What the Betting Trends Say.

Phalodi Satta Bazar Prediction: Delhi Assembly Elections 2025
With the nomination process concluding last week, the stage is now set for the Delhi Assembly elections, scheduled for polling on February 5. Major political parties, including the ruling Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), and the Congress, have rolled out an array of “freebies” and promises to attract voters in the capital.
Challenges for AAP and BJP’s Aggressive Push
As the AAP aims for a third consecutive term, it faces several hurdles, including voter apathy, anti-incumbency sentiment, corruption allegations, and criticism over development and civic conditions. Despite these challenges, the AAP continues to rely on the popularity of its welfare schemes to maintain its stronghold.
On the other hand, the BJP is aggressively campaigning to end its three-decade-long power drought in Delhi. Although the party has momentum from recent electoral successes in Maharashtra and Haryana, the absence of a strong local leader and the AAP’s continued popularity could pose significant challenges to its prospects.
Meanwhile, the Congress, with little presence in the Delhi Assembly and Parliament, has entered the fray late. Determined to regain relevance, it aims to dislodge the AAP and avenge setbacks suffered during the UPA era.
Opinion Polls and Satta Market Predictions
Opinion polls so far favor the AAP, indicating a likely return to power. The Phalodi Satta Bazar, a prominent betting market in Rajasthan, has also revised its projections for the upcoming elections.
Phalodi Satta Bazar Projections
Aam Aadmi Party (AAP):
The ruling AAP, which secured landslide victories in 2015 and 2020 with 67 and 62 seats respectively, is aiming for another term. Initially, the Phalodi Satta Bazar projected AAP to win between 37-39 seats. However, the latest estimates indicate a slight increase, with the party now expected to win 39-41 seats, maintaining its edge over competitors.
Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP):
The BJP, which last won the Delhi Assembly elections in 1993, hopes to reclaim power by targeting AAP’s governance and adopting a populist strategy. While earlier estimates by the Satta Bazar projected the BJP to secure 25-35 seats, revised projections show an improved tally of 29-31 seats. However, the party is still 5-6 seats short of the majority mark of 36.
Congress:
The Congress, which has no representation in the current Delhi Assembly or in Parliament from Delhi, is struggling to regain its foothold. Despite fielding candidates in all 70 seats, the party’s campaign gained momentum only recently. The Phalodi Satta Bazar has not provided updated projections for Congress, but earlier estimates suggested the party might win up to 3 seats.
Key Details of Delhi Elections 2025
The nominations process for the Delhi Assembly elections concluded on January 20, with 699 candidates contesting across 70 seats. The AAP and Congress are contesting all 70 seats, while the BJP has fielded candidates in 68 constituencies, leaving two for its allies—JD(U) and LJP (Ram Vilas).
Polling will take place on February 5, with results to be announced on February 8. The current term of the Delhi Assembly ends on February 23.
With the Phalodi Satta Bazar’s revised predictions hinting at a competitive race, all eyes are on February 5 to see if the AAP retains its dominance, or if the BJP or Congress manages to change the political landscape of Delhi.
