TATA Indian Premier League 2026 Fever Goes Nationwide: Fan Parks to Launch in 15 Cities
The excitement of the TATA Indian Premier League 2026 is set to travel beyond stadiums once again, as the Board of Control for Cricket in India announced the first phase of the TATA IPL Fan Parks 2026. Designed to bring the electrifying atmosphere of IPL matches closer to fans, the initiative will roll out across 15 cities in 11 states during the opening three weekends of the tournament.
The Fan Parks will transform public venues into cricket celebration zones, allowing supporters to watch live matches on giant screens while enjoying entertainment, food, and interactive experiences. The concept continues IPL’s mission of ensuring fans across India feel part of the action, even if they are miles away from the stadiums.
Three Weekends of Non-Stop Cricket Carnival
The first phase of the Fan Parks will be held on:
- March 28 & 29, 2026
- April 4 & 5, 2026
- April 11 & 12, 2026
Each weekend will host five Fan Parks across different regions — North, South, East, and West — ensuring balanced representation and maximum fan participation.
Week 1 Cities (March 28–29)
Rohtak, Bhopal, Nagpur, Tumakuru, and Krishnanagar will host the opening weekend, marking the start of the nationwide IPL celebrations.
Week 2 Cities (April 4–5)
The cricket carnival then moves to Mathura, Jodhpur, Nizamabad, Mysuru, and Bhubaneswar, bringing more fans into the IPL atmosphere.
Week 3 Cities (April 11–12)
Meerut, Nadiad, Ratnagiri, Coimbatore, and Rourkela will host the third round of Fan Parks, continuing the nationwide outreach.
Stadium-Like Experience for Fans
Each Fan Park will offer much more than just live screenings. Fans can expect:
- Giant screen match broadcasts
- Music and live entertainment
- Food courts and refreshments
- Kids’ play zones
- Virtual batting and bowling activities
- Face painting and fan contests
- Cheer-o-meters and interactive games
- 360° photo booths
These attractions aim to recreate the thrill and energy of watching a match inside a packed stadium.
Taking IPL to Every Corner
Since its launch in 2015, the IPL Fan Park initiative has helped expand the league’s reach to new cities and communities. The 2026 edition continues that legacy by ensuring fans from diverse regions can celebrate cricket together.
With more locations expected to be announced for the later phase, the Fan Parks promise to turn the opening weeks of the TATA Indian Premier League 2026 into a nationwide festival of cricket.
